Title: Material Requirement Determination in SAP Process improvement in efficiency and effectiveness for viewing multiple materials compare to SAP Transaction: MD04 (Single Material view), MD06, MD07 collective access

Below is S094 standard SAP Table which is used to store Stock/Requirements (MRP) Analysis data allows anyone to determine and analyze dependent material (BOM assemblies) requirement and independent requirement much more effectively than using standard SAP transaction MD04, MD06, MD07 with collective access to view multiple materials requirement. The benefit of using S094 standard SAP Table is much more effective to display RELEVANT results according to your selection criteria.

LIS Stock/Requirement Analysis running on SAP ERP

Data field columns like Reqmts, Ind.reqmts, Stock Lvl at Gds Rec. , Cumulated ATP are data which can be found in most popular standard transactions MD04, however, the display view is only limited to single material.

Hence, i hope this insight is useful sharing how multiple materials net requirement (cumulated ATP) can be determined or established for multiple plants/ Storage locations according to your selection criteria

Having the Cumulated ATP is just like the equivalent of the net requirement quantity required to either produce (manufacture) or purchase to supply to the customer.

SAP Tcode: MD04 for viewing Stock/Requirement List for Single Material only

The above report that i mention is unlike other transactions such as MCBE transaction code used for INVCO: Material Analysis Selection in SAP which is useful for tracking material — stock receipts, stock issue, total usage, safety stock, Total Stock (ie: does not account for any reservation, Quality Inspection), inventory stock turn instead of demand order & requirement analysis which i mentioned above.

MCBE transaction code used for INVCO: Material Analysis Selection indeed has its limitation as the Total Stock as you can see below (ie: Total Stock does not account for any manual reservation made in transaction: MB21, Quality Inspection). This can be illustrated when i compare it with the stock view from MMBE.

Unlike the custom report that i mentioned above, it is suitable identifying gross material requirements as shown in the ∑ Cumulated ATP since it already factor in Sales Order requirements, Independent requirement (ie: manual reservations made in transaction: MB21, Order Reservations (OrdRes) for BOM dependent items etc) & on-hand stock quantity for multiple plants , materials, Storage locations.

The LIS Stock/Requirement analysis information should be similar/close to the typically view in SAP transaction code: MD04 except that it is limited for viewing single material material requirement)
